Draw a rail like a pencil by dragging along an empty line, or click once to drop one at the creator's length below. Click a rail to select it · drag its ends to resize · drag the bar to move it anywhere, along its line or onto another (20 mm grid) · click its size label to type an exact length. RIGHT-CLICK a rail for everything else: key hooks, cable holder, duplicate, lock, printed, export, delete. Rails live only in this step: panels are locked here, and rails cannot be grabbed in step 1.

Each row carries the rail's badge, size and peg count, with its own Lock (pin against edits) and Printed (freeze pegs into the bar) toggles. Type in the size field for an exact length. Click a row to select that rail and place its pegs below.
Every peg the selected rail can carry, at its real place along the bar. Solid prints, dashed is skipped — click one to drop it, click again to bring it back.
Every divider bar of the layout as separate printable pieces (long ones split to the print bed). Rails flagged 🪝 (right-click) export with their key hooks.
Draws the shared black lines the current panels imply — between neighbouring faces, merged into single bars, skipping any stretch a rail already covers. It only ever ADDS: nothing you drew is moved, resized or removed, and pressing it twice changes nothing.
Removes every rail on the board, hand-drawn and generated alike. Auto-populate then rebuilds the full network from scratch.
Download STL saves the SELECTED rail exactly as the viewer draws it — its real length, its real pegs, and its own key-hook or cable-loop treatment. With no rail selected it saves a standalone bar at the length and orientation above, without touching the board.
Rails print as deep as the piece plates (Plate thickness, Layout menu), so the black bars sit FLUSH with the piece fronts on the wall. Untick to use the custom Rail thickness (Board menu · Advanced) for thin bars instead.
